Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 12, 2026

This policy explains what data LearnLingo collects when you use mylearnlingo.com and how we use it. We collect as little as we can.

Data you give us

  • Account details. If you create a profile with Google, Apple or email, we store your name, email address and profile picture provided by that service.
  • Learning progress. Completed lessons, accuracy, XP, streaks and daily goals, so we can show your progress and the weekly league.

Data stored on your device

If you learn without an account, your progress is stored only in your browser using local storage. Clearing your browser data deletes it.

Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. Analytics cookies are disabled until you accept them. We also record anonymous product events, such as a lesson being completed, using a daily rotating hash instead of your IP address.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to protect sign-in forms. Analytics cookies are only set after you accept them.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We use service providers to run the site: hosting, email delivery and analytics. They process data only on our behalf. Your first name and weekly XP are shown to other learners on the league leaderboard.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data at any time by emailing [email protected]. Deleting your account removes your profile and progress.

Children

LearnLingo is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and show the date of the latest update at the top.
